UIL Track & Field State Meet Day | 🥇🥈
Congratulations to senior Jayden Thrower on capturing his second straight state championship in Triple Jump at the UIL State Track & Field Meet! In addition, he now holds the UIL 5A Meet Record in the Triple Jump! His impressive 51' 3.25" jump shattered his own school record of 50'! He’s unstoppable. 🏃
Senior Zoe Williams claimed 2nd place finish in the 100M Hurdle clocking an incredible 13.61, just .01 seconds behind first place, setting a new BH record. Go Zoe- you make us proud!
Sophomore Kaegan Morton placed 7th in the 100m dash and finished 4th in the 200m sprint. Whew. Impressive.
Freshman Madyson Ladd landed an impressive 8th place state finish in High Jump. Her future is looking bright. 😎
Bi-District Playoffs | Softball 🥎
On May 1st, the Lady Eagles continued their playoff run against Cy Ridge High School. They moved on to the next game, winning 2-1. Friday's game was postponed to Saturday due to the weather, but that didn't faze the ladies in the least. The Wildcats couldn't stop them then, and they won 4-2. With the offense in full swing and Nutter delivering a masterful two-hit performance, the lady’s marched on, winning 5-1. They ended Round Two with a record of 31-3. Round Three is this week!
Bi- District Playoffs | Baseball ⚾️
The BH Boys opened their bi-district series against Angleton on May 1st with a thrilling 4-3 victory. They maintained their momentum on Friday, securing a 4-2 win against Angleton to complete the sweep. With those back-to-back victories, the boys have secured their position and advance to the next round of the playoffs! Their current record is 24-5.
